Month 03 and 21
It sees like only yesterday that they were just kids.
See the news recently? British Soldiers caught in Iraqi or Iranian waters pending on who you talk to. They were tortured (Sleep deprivation) for 10 days by people keeping them awake by shouting at them all night, Screaming even. Could you imagine 10 full days of it? Mind you they had training on this for years from their army (apparently on of the best in the world at dealing with this kinda thing!) Then they came back to the UK to a heroes welcome, to have withstood such treatment and some of them sold their stories to the papers in the UK for a hefty sum. You have got to feel their pain.....

Do you reckon any of them have kids? I am bad to have thought that they should just Suck it up! Wait till you have a kid, let alone two close together.

And did anyone chuck wads of mulla at us for our story? Did they heck....

Maybe the next time they send people out to where they can get captured and tortured in the same way, they may think of sending parents of small kids instead. It would be no hassle for them. 'That the best you got? Bring it on! Puke on me too if you dare.' They would not even blink.

MEANWHILE... on our ranch. Mumfi is ofski to Ireland for a week. Oisín will be going with her, leaving Aoife with her Da. So before he is 11 weeks old he will have 11,000 frequent flyer points. Well would have it the airline gave him any.

The wet season has arrived also, so its a break from the dust. Replaced instead by mud, floods and displaced animals flooded out of their respective burrows, hills and drains. They have all found their way inside, which is good for THEM really. The different illnesses have popped up with the season, just take a look at the picture of Aoife.

Oisín is starting top get into a rhythm with sleep and food. At 8 pm MOST evenings we get an hour or two too ourselves, before we flake out and fall into the bed. He wakes once before morning (which is obviously as monster two is usually singing away at cock crow). We have had roosters calling to the house to complain about the noise at this stage of the morning. Only 21 more years to go!

The boy smiles quite a bit now. Aoife has stopped pointing at him now going 'waaaah waaaaah', so it is good that she seems to think he is getting out of that stage. We have her enrolled for 'summer camp' this year. 3 hours a day for a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will help her with some of her shyness.

Aoife's language skills are coming on in leaps and bounds. She points out "Daddy's beer" in the shop and the "Wine", usually to the delight of the other customers. The lass is not quite. She is starting to repeat what she hears also. If anything derogatory is said about you in the next while, Aoife will tell you. She can be so acurate with pronunciation also, just slap you hand with a hammer in front of her. Wow she has a good ear!

Few Photos of the lads here.
